At Fall Foliage Time

Our colorful fall foliage holiday has been designed for you to capture magnificent coastal scenery and to have a fun filled Fall Foliage Getaway.
October 7 – Our two night holiday will begin by travelling to Baddeck – a quaint and charming village – home of the renowned Alexander Graham Bell Museum which is always an enjoyable and impressive visit. Our two night accommodations ideally located downtown Baddeck “The Telegraph House” 902-295-1100. A Historical Inn since 1861 makes it easy to enjoy the best of Baddeck, a delicious meal upon arrival will be enjoyed in their charming dining room.
October 8 – Following a delicious breakfast with cameras in hand we will begin travelling throughout picturesque Margaree Valley towards Cheticamp Historical Acadia Village to visit Les Trois Pignon museum and witness a true testimony to Acadian’s Rug hooking culture. We will begin to climb the mighty “Cabot Trail” having numerous photo opportunities, as we witness Mother Nature at her best. A delightful lunch will be enjoyed in a quaint restaurant in Pleasant Bay, we will continue to travel Cabot Trail’s famous highway and be rewarded with spectacular valley and coastal views as we return to Baddeck for a leisure evening.
October 9 – We will bid farewell to beautiful Cape Breton and return home travelling along the Sun Rise Trail – making an interesting stop in Pictou to visit Ship Hector – Hector was a ship famous for having been part of the first significant migration of Scottish settlers to Nova Scotia in 1773. Following lunch at the popular Harbour House Restaurant we will continue along to Malagash’s Jost Vineyard, a very popular Sun Rise Trail destination for wine tasting (optional). Continuing onward on Highway 6 towards seaside towns, Wallace, Pugwash and Amherst before saying farewell to our neighboring province and returning home from a most delightful pleasurable Fall Foliage Holiday.
