Ottawa Tulip Festival, Kingston, Quebec City, Montreal, 1000 Island Cruise
May 13th – May 20th
May 13 – We will begin our exciting Canadian Classic Spring Holiday and travel to our nights accommodations located in the heart of Old Quebec City the historical Hotel Clarendon 418-692-2480. Upon arrival you will be treated to a delicious French Cuisine meal.
May 14 – Following a delicious breakfast – you will have the leisure opportunity to stroll throughout the historical cobblestone streets enjoying numerous boutiques and Old France Ambience all located from your hotel’s doorstep.
Departing Quebec City late morning we will journey to our Nations Capital – Our home for three nights ideally located downtown Ottawa’s Cartier Hotel 613-236-6000 – each unit equipped with a Kitchenette. A visit to the nearby grocery store will be provided. This evening you may wish to join Nancy for an evening stroll along the renowned Rideau Canal.
May 15 – We will begin our exciting day by welcoming our very informative Ottawa’s step on guide – for a most interesting morning city tour. This afternoon we will have leisure time to visit Tulip Festival Headquarters at Commissioners Park. Strolling amongst thousands of colorful Tulips, enjoying numerous Tulip displays and musical entertainment – A perfect way to end our day is to enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Historical Rideau Canal.
May 16 – While visiting our nations capital this morning you will have the optional opportunity to visit our countries renowned museums – Canadian War Museum plus Museum of Civilization to be followed by shopping opportunities at the famous Byward Market and Rideau Center.
May 17 – We will bid farewell to Ottawa and travel approx. 2 hours to Kingston, Canada’s once Capital – for a most interesting City Tour of this most beautiful limestone city. This evening we will be treated to a Sunset Dinner Cruise – Cruising amongst small cottage islands and Grand Estates of the Admiralty Islands plus enjoying a delicious three course Dinner is a perfect way to end another perfect day. May 18 – Another exciting day awaits you as we travel to Rockport to cruise the “Millionaire Row” on the St. Lawrence River to be followed by a delicious lunch before travelling to nearby Brockville to visit Canada’s Oldest Railway Tunnel – a Leisurely stroll throughout the tunnel is a unique experience. The remainder of our day will be another highlight as we travel to nearby Morrisburg to visit “Upper Canada Village” A magical experience transporting you back in time to the 1860’s. Tonight’s accommodations Morrisburg’s charming family owned McIntosh Inn 613-543-3788.
May 19 – Following our delicious breakfast buffet we will depart our charming McIntosh Inn and travel to Canada’s Iconic city Montreal – We will welcome our city guide for a very interesting tour plus having time to stroll the cobblestones streets in Vieux Montréal. We will travel East Bound to our overnights accommodations in charming Port Joli Motel Blanche d’Haberville 418-598-3311. Upon arrival we will enjoy our farewell meal at Port Joli Marina located on the shores of the mighty St. Lawrence River.
May 20 – We will journey home together from a most delightful Canadian Classic Tour.
