September 17 – With great anticipation we will begin our most exciting and interesting holiday and travel to our first nights stay at Fairfield Inn in Tewksbury 978-640-0700.
September 18 – We will travel throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey to Lancaster Pennsylvania for three nights at the impressive Fulton Steamboat Inn 717-299-9999.
September 19 – We will begin our exciting day by welcoming our very informative Amish Tour Guide and travel throughout picture perfect farmlands, to view pristine Amish Farms. Making numerous stops throughout our day at quilts, crafts, furniture and woodworking shops. Visiting Kitchen Kettle specialty Village with it’s 40 outdoor shops is always an experience and a perfect way to end our day is to be welcomed into an Amish home for a delicious home cooked Amish style meal.
September 20 – Our day will begin by visiting the very popular Bird in hand Market to be followed by our delicious Amish Meal at Dienner’s Country Restaurant Before attending Sight and Sound Spectacular “Daniel” performance, experiencing one of the Bibles most epic stories of Daniel comes to life with massive sets, special effects, and live animals in this original stage production. An experience you will always remember!
September 21 – Following our Family Style Breakfast we will travel for 2 ½ hours to United States Capital Washington D.C. Upon arrival photo opportunities of the White House will be arranged plus sight seeing throughout this amazing city making photo stops at renowned monuments. Our home for tonight Holiday Inn Washington Capital 202-479-4000. – Located one block from the Smithsonian.
September 22 – We will enjoy our traveling day to our three night stay at the very impressive Grand Berlin Hotel 330-403-3050 located in Berlin Ohio.
September 23 – We will begin our day by welcoming our delightful and informative Guide – guiding us as we travel throughout “Heart of Amish Country” – Our first visit will be at the Behalt – Amish Mennonite Heritage Center. You will learn the history of how the Amish and Mennonite groups formed – aided by a magnificent 265’ X 10’ historical Cyclorama. We will meet a charming Amish family who welcomes us into their home for Quilt demonstrations also meet their 10 children and be impressed by the way they contribute to their family business – making lip balms, essential oils, key chains, crafts etc. You may wish to have your own personalized key chain, and to add to our day we will enjoy an Amish Hay Stack meal! Wow what a day!
September 24 – We will enjoy our relaxing morning or visit Berlins nearby stores on Main street before we meet our delightful Guide for an exciting Amish experience, meeting an “Old Order Buggy Maker”, world famous Lehman’s Hardware store known world wide for it‘s non electric goods, and Amish basket maker- Before we will enjoy a delicious meal in an Amish home before attending a Amish family friendly Country Theater. Be prepared for some explosive laughter as we are entertained by a live comedy Variety Show! What a awesome way to end our Amish Holiday.
September 25 – Our travels today will take us North to Frankenmuth Michigan, for our two night stay at the impressive Springhill Suits 989-652-7200 located in the heart of Frankenmuth and nearby numerous European theme shops and boutiques, cheese and wine shops. We will become a German Baker and partake in a pretzel rolling experience at the Bavarian Inn Bakery and of course we must be treated to Bavarian Inn Restaurant Family style Frankenmuth Chicken Dinner.
September 26 – Following Breakfast, we will visit Bronners, the worlds largest Christmas store and the Silent Night Chapel. Before enjoying our Bavarian Belle River Boat Cruise makes this a perfect Bavarian Day!
September 27 – We will depart our dear Bavarian town and travel to Dearhorn Michigan for our very impressive visit to Henry Ford Museum, before traveling to our nights destination Cleveland’s Hampton Inn 330-422-0500.
September 28 – We bid farewell to Ohio and travel towards Scranton PA. Hampton Inn 570-342-7002.
September 29 – Our journey will continue North bound to our lovely Best Western Merry Manor 207-774-6151 accommodation. A perfect location for our farewell party to celebrate a perfect holiday!
September 30 – Returning home with spectacular memories of a spectacular holiday!!
